The artist

Edgar Becerril is an award-winning scientist and photographer. His images holds the essence of life in its different species, creating interesting portraits from nature's light and the search for knowledge by applying photography on his scientific projects. Becerril 's pictures provide a novel and interesting perspective of biodiversity, especially from Baja California Peninsula, Mexico. Edgar's photographs have been part of national and international exhibitions related to scientific conservation of nature. During 2020-2022, his exhibition "S.O.S. Tiburones" was hosted by the Oceanogràfic de València, Europe's largest aquarium.
